Once again, the Argentine Association of Surgery is organizing its annual congress, as has been happening for 81 years.

The event will take place at the Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires , since November 14 th until 17 th , 2011.

As usual, it will be held simultaneously with the 55º Argentine Congress of Thoracic Surgery, 36 ° Argentine Congress of Coloproctology, 38 ° Argentine Meeting of Angiology and Cardiovascular Surgery and 12 th National Meeting of General Surgery Residents.

This annual event is the most important educational congress of surgery in Argentina . Its prestige has grown in successive editions. In this opportunity, without drawing away from its traditional aims based on providing a broad, comprehensive, high scientific level of the surgical tasks last advances, the Executive Committee is planning a great schedule that will emphasize in the Multidisciplinary Treatment of Cancer. Renowned surgeons, medical oncologists and radiotherapists from U.S.A. , Europe and Latin America have been invited to participate in various activities, which will join our professional environment.
